			Andi Merrill
DIRECTOR OF PULSE MINISTRY
Andi Merrill started working in the fitness industry in 2009 as a personal trainer, Pilates, boot camp, group fitness and spinning instructor, and a holistic nutrition coach. She ran her own wellness business for 8 years, started a fitness app, and was a seminar and conference speaker in the industry. One of her greatest desires is still to inspire people to live healthier, vibrant and intentional lives.
Currently Andi is the Worship Arts Pastor at Eastern Hills Church. She’s continued working part-time in fitness since becoming a pastor and is putting everything together by helping people get healthier physically, emotionally and spiritually. Her calling in life is to help people realize that there is always hope for a changed life!
 
			Samantha Carlson
INSTRUCTOR
Samantha is a recent college graduate who is extremely passionate about fitness and nutrition! She played division 1 soccer at Charleston Southern University and found a love for rhythm ride shortly after her season concluded. Samantha wants to help everyone around her become the best versions of themselves in all aspects of their lives – physically, mentally, and spiritually. She hopes to inspire everyone who attends her classes to do just that!
Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dogs, going for walks, cooking, listening to nutrition podcasts, attending her boyfriend’s division 1 hockey games, and going to Christian concerts!
 
			Esther Ruhl
INSTRUCTOR
Esther has been an avid bike rider ever since she was young. She completed 3 long distance bike rides with her sister and dad, including an 800 mile trip in 9 days. She has completed 3 sprint triathlons and placed in each one. She has also been a dancer her whole life, with training in strength and conditioning. She currently teaches dance at 2 local studios and has a passion for teaching! Through Pulse, she hopes to not only motivate her students on the bike, but also in life. She believes that movement is the gateway for physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
In her free time, Esther likes to go to the finger lakes with her husband to explore new hikes and waterfalls and enjoys boating and jet skiing on the water. In the winter, you’ll see her skiing down the slopes!
 
			Meghann Roberts
INSTRUCTOR
Meghann has had a life–long passion for all aspects of fitness throughout her adult life. Over the past 15 years she was committed to cycling indoors and out. After falling away for the past few years, she rekindled her joy and love with spinning at Pulse Indoor Cycling. She is now thrilled to join in the committed, enthusiastic and uplifting team to make cycling and fitness as approachable to all as it truly is. With a center focus on our faith, this studio is exactly where Meghann wants to join and help others grow their fitness journey in our community.
When not in class, Meghann spends time with her daughter, Harper and son, Cole. Harper plays travel softball for Diamond Girls as a pitcher, so Meghann has become a default catcher. They enjoy hiking, swimming, and most outdoor activities, taking in our amazing seasons.
 
			Jessica Fancher
INSTRUCTOR
Jessica, a life-long Buffalo native, has been teaching barre fitness for 11 years for a locally owned barre studio. When she is not teaching barre, she is either out for a run, walking her dog or lifting weights at the gym. Fitness is a way of life —being outdoors and having the blessing of being fit and strong is a priority and why she loves to share it with others.
What Jessica loves most about teaching fitness is that she gets to see each person who walks into class walk out refreshed, revived and energized! She is a wife and mom to two busy teenagers. Jessica is excited for this new adventure with Pulse and can’t wait to meet all of you in class!
 
			Mark Manzella
INSTRUCTOR
Mark has over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry specializing in strength training, individualized personal training, and High Intensity Interval Training. His career has included working with leading gyms such as Crunch Fitness as well as in-home fitness instruction, and he currently coaches clients with Parkinson’s where he focuses on neurological exercises that enhance mobility and quality of life. Mark has had the privilege of training individuals ranging from teenagers through seniors in their 80’s, tailoring programs to meet diverse goals and abilities. Mark’s passion is to help people achieve their fitness goals. He is a proud Buffalo native and life-long Buffalo Bills and Sabers fan. Mark enjoys balancing his passion for health and fitness with time spent with his wife and three children.

What is Indoor Cycling?
Indoor cycling is a high-intensity cardio workout that takes place on a stationary bike. It combines resistance training, interval workouts, and motivational coaching.
Do I need any experience to join a class?
No experience is necessary! Our classes are designed for all fitness levels, from beginners to seasoned cyclists. Instructors can guide you to modify the workout as needed.
What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable workout attire, preferably moisture-wicking fabric. Cycling shorts or padded shorts are a good idea, and we recommend hard-soled sneakers or cycling shoes with SPD clips.
Do I need to bring my own cycling shoes?
If you have cycling shoes, great! If not, sneakers are fine. Our bikes are compatible with SPD clips.
How early should I arrive to my first class?
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early for your first class so our staff can help you get set up and adjust your bike.
How much do classes cost?
We offer a variety of pricing options, including single-class passes, and various package options. Visit our pricing page for more details.
Is there a membership required, or can I pay per class?
No membership required! You can either purchase single classes or a class pack to suite your needs.
How do I book a class?
You can book a class through the MindBody app. Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend reserving your spot as classes can fill up quickly.
What happens if I need to cancel a class?
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours before class, a class will be deducted from your package or a fee may be charged.
How long are the classes?
Classes are 50 minutes long.
Can I choose my bike ahead of time?
Not at this time, but with 14 bikes available, we don’t think there’s a bad seat in the house!
Is it safe for beginners?
Yes, indoor cycling is a low-impact workout that is gentle on the joints while still being effective. Instructors can offer modifications if needed.
Do you have a weight or age limit?
Our bikes can handle up to 297lbs, and we recommend no one younger than 14 to take our classes.
